Project Ask

During the summer internship at Top3 Media, in 2014, a local wine company startup named Vinopinion approached us. They offered services for wine enthusiasts, bringing them exquisite wines, organising tastings and putting up articles around wine experiences. Hence they wanted Top3 Media to put them and their business online as well as create a brand identity that portrays the luxury service they offer.

The Solution

After studying the brand, the meaning behind its name and sponsors, there were mainly two elements that stood out for the branding. It was obviously a wine element and as well as an eagle element. This was a requirement by the client themselves as well, as their sponsor brand was featured around an eagle. To make Vinopinion portray the feel luxury and class the colour gold with a deep blue made its colour palette. For the eagle element, a feather was used and for wine it's glass. Furthermore, a clean grid boxed layout was set for its website, showcasing their wine and offers.

My Role & Responsibility​

  • Understanding the ask of the client and the needs of their targeted market

  • Site map and wireframing alongside working with content provided by the content team

  • Setting the digital visual style for the brand with UI elements 

  • Logo design, fonts, image styles, colours etc.
