The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) is a sovereign wealth fund owned by Emirate of Abu Dhabi (in United Arab Emirates) founded for the purpose of investing funds on behalf of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It manages the Emirate’s excess oil reserves.
ROLE
Being a digital design on the project I studied the requirement of making an internal application (TriO) for all the transitions handled by ADIA. I designed the look and feel of the desktop application TriO and set it’s visual language. It was an application for windows which made it interesting and challenging at the same time. I rolled out all the screens need for development for this portal.
Relaxathon
Project Ask
As a part of a undergraduate curriculum, each student was given one movie to watch and come up with a brand identity for a hypothetical product adding functionality to it that could help any character from the movie. I was provided with Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho (1960).
The Solution
In the movie, one of the lead characters has to steal an object in order for them to not get killed. But she starts showing signs of guilt and goes into a panic state. To cater to this issue, a wrist band was proposed as the hypothetical product which would reduce the tension and stress of the character.
The product was named 'Relaxathon' which would monitor stress and anxiety levels and further suggest tips for keeping calm and composed. The branding and identity design was kept simple, clear with the use of cool colours. The shape of the logo was meant to represent waves which are calming and helps people to focus.
