Project Ask

Kwality Wall’s launched a new worldwide campaign in 2016 called #GOODBYESERIOUS. For India, the campaign was handled by DDB Mudra Group, Mumbai. The brand wanted to increase their sales and popularity as compared to their competition. They wanted to hit the local audience with fun social-media graphics along with smart and witty content specific for the Indian market.

 

The Solution

Iconic ice-cream flavours in India were chosen to create the graphics. Each of those flavours was given a specific personality based on what they were made of, how they tasted and looked. The brand had specific requirements for how the visuals were to be treated. With just some particular colours and product images in hand, speech bubbles were created to highlight the snappy one-liner copy. Short animated posts were also created running the overall campaign on Instagram, Twitter and YouTube increasing the sales by almost 40%.

My Role & Responsibility​

  • Understand the ask of the client and the existing brand guidelines

  • Brainstorm with peers to create personalities for each ice cream flavour

  • Sole designer to establish and create social media post's looks and feel

  • Co-create witty localised content with a copywriter

  •  Storyboard for the short animated videos
